Now, It seems that those "GE" people at the disability center might just be *Metropolitan life or **Sedgwick CMS. Obviously, hired guns! Maybe that's why their so mean!

Welcome back friends, I hope that you had and opportunity to share our brief week of joy before the sky began to darken once again. You know, right about now should have been the "and they lived happily ever after bit". Sorry, I can only tell the story as it unfolds.
Like I said, about a week later we received a call from "Crisis Returns" at the GE Disability center she seemed personable enough right up to the "Request for more information" part that came about 30 seconds into call. I had to Fax a Power of Attorney to "Crisis Returns" because they will not talk to your wife without your permission. In my case that means waking me up when I am resting (now most of the time) and asking if it is ok to talk to your wife.
"Crisis Returns" said that, "you need to send in all of the medical information from all of the doctors over again", and that she had a list of questions for me to answer. ( I know, just like you, I am drawing a real blank about now and can't think of anything clever to say here)
So, "Crisis Returns" went on with her list of Questions (she was now talking to my wife after getting my permission),
Question #1: "So when is the surgery scheduled?"
My wife wrote down the question and replied, "Ok, next question?"
The bone crushing silence that followed was finally punctuated by the next question. We learned a really valuable lesson in that moment, if they can't pick on a cripple and get you to say something on the phone that they can misconstrue later it really pisses them off.
Question #2: "Doctors names and phone numbers?"
Question #3: "Current Symptoms?"
Question #4: "What portion of Robert's job is he unable to perform?" in the house of pain, Dr. Moreau
And there we have it neat and tidy in a little nutshell that resembles an Iron Maiden. Rest assured my friends at this point I had no illusions of what was to follow.
A week or so later (I know that I keep saying that over and over but that's the way these people extract those precious drops of blood, TIME!) "Crisis Returns" called my local doctor and requested all of the medical records that she already had from my other doctors. Neat trick, so now my local doctor has to contact all of the other doctors for the records that she already has, in order to send the records to her again.
WAIT A MINUTE, LET'S TAKE ANOTHER LOOK AT THE LAST LETTER FROM THE GE TORTURE CENTER AGAIN!!!
IS THERE SOMETHING I AM MISSING HERE?
Oh by the way, did I mention that "Crisis Returns" somehow forgot to send along a "medical release for records" that I had already signed back in February and was on file at the GE Disability Center. So, the nice ladies at my local doctors office called me and let me know about the "no medical release situation" and I was greatly appreciative and notified "Crisis Returns" immediately.
The medical release form was sent over that day or the following day to my local doctor I don't remember, and the nice ladies in my local doctors office began the Herculean task of contacting all my other doctors for records to send to the GE Benefits Center that they already had.
A Day or so later, "Crisis Returns" called my wife and said, "that things were not moving along fast enough" and that if she didn't receive all the medical records that she already had, by July 28, 2006 that she would have no other choice than to terminate my pay and benefits again. The clock was ticking, about a week left! (right about now I can hear the circus music playing in my head)
Ok, so we all know what is going to happen next. In the meantime, lets give those dedicated ladies in my local doctors office time to work that Herculean magic. Oh yes, the answer to the five Questions.
Both of my surgeons are excellent, and extremely qualified in their areas of expertise. Dr. Kim will perform the spinal part. and I have another appointment at the UCD Medical Center with a consulting surgeon Dr. Benson that specializes in spinal disorders, for a second opinion. Sorry, I opted out on the "MYSTERY PA" from the GE Disability Center taking a "hack" at the problem.
TIMING IS EVERYTHING !
Ok, so right about now it's obvious what happened next.

BUT WAIT!!! GUESS WHAT WAS GOING ON AT THE SAME, TIME CHECK THIS ONE OUT.

(don't click here) As usual, as soon as the subject was broached that his minion "The Flower" was at it again, IT WAS THE SOUND OF SILENCE. That pesky stolen car just keeps popping up!!
As time went on there was the surgery, beginning of recovery and the Discrimination and Retaliation continuing out of control!

I hope that the facts that have been presented here make you disgusted. I can't tell you to stop doing business with GE, Ge-xproblems or Rexel, I can ask you to examine your values and determine if there is room for discrimination in your life or business, Hopefully not.
